Bloggers for Joplin

On Sunday, May 22nd, the town of Joplin, Missouri was devastated by an F5 tornado, the highest rating given to tornadoes. The death toll is at 122 victims and there are over 700 with injuries. There are still over 1,500 people unaccounted for. Our hearts go out to the people of Joplin and more than anything we want to help them recover from this disaster.
It feels like an impossible task, right? Well there are two things you can do to help the people of Joplin. One won't cost you anything but a little time.
If you are able, please donate. Disasters on this scale quickly deplete blood bank supplies. If you are physically able to donate blood, please take the time to do so.
The other option - join myself and the rest of Bloggers for Joplin in raising funds for a donation. We are accepting advertisers for the month of June with 100% of the proceeds going to help the people of Joplin, MO.

Tara of A Creation of Miracles is also looking to donate $300 for 3 families that are now homeless. These families work with her father. She is looking for $100 for each family.
